Be still my beating heart: Clover finally performed “Pork Soup” live. Eun Ji-won barely hangs in there with the chorus, but that in itself is thrilling because you don’t know if he’s about to crack or if he can handle it. Mr. Tyfoon and Gilme handle their dialogue beautifully, and, as usual, Gilme’s ad-libs near the end are flawless.

B.A.P‘s “Crash,” SBS Inkigayo, September 2, 2012
B.A.P’s comeback with “Crash” presents a more lighthearted view of the group. They present their cute side without going overboard with the aegyo. Sure there are hearts and smiles here and there, but more than anything, this performance is jokey with the members playing around on stage and holding unexpectedly serious faces in some circumstances. Their choreography seems more like a parody than actual moves, and it’s a joy to watch.

Despite the relative lack of movement in comparison to idol groups, J-Min manages to capture attention for the whole video with the very lively rock song. And Jungmo moves around more than sufficiently for the two of them. To feel the energy of the stage is worth the watch, especially since it’s better than J-Min’s stage last week on Inkigayo, which was already good. It’s also a good introduction to J-Min and her vocals, especially since she hasn’t been seen for ages.

Rookie group FIESTAR hasn’t been around long, but on their second performance, they’re doing well live. My favorite aspect? The sass that they put into some of their hip moves. I hope in the future they’ll still bring it to new songs.

Not only has BoA ditched those baggy pants, she is singing live and in fairly high heels. After previous discussion, this is much appreciated and shows why BoA has the reputation she does. For me, Eunhyuk and BoA have been the combination out of all of BoA’s dance partners that have had the best chemistry, and it’s definitely there in this performance. I was waiting like a horrible person for BoA to go off key or turn breathy or something, but it didn’t happen, showing that she’s still got it.
