This year has brought us some subtle changes in music trends, leaning towards not only a greater diversity in sound, but also a push for greater apparent authenticity of talent, which could be a side-effect of the competitive popularity of talent-driven broadcast shows such as Immortal Song 2, I Am A Singer, Superstar K3, and Survival Audition K-Pop Star.
There were quite a few welcome surprises that topped the Korean music charts this year, but now we turn the question to our readers around the globe: which song do you think deserves the title of Song of the Year for 2012?
