Welcome back to another weekly wrap up of our favorite music shows! This week, I can hardly believe there’s no B.A.P in sight, but I was pleased to see gems like M.I.B. and D-Unit light up the stage as well as my homeboy Jay Park rock out his latest and greatest single yet, “JOAH.” Here’s your look into the past week!

130417 Show Champion, D-Unit, “Thank You”

It’s nice to D-Unit tackles a softer approach to their promo material without sacrificing their core concept. I’m loving this gentler track and how the girls maintain charisma. Also, the outfits are to die for.

130417 Show Champion, M.I.B., “Nod Along”

If you haven’t been paying attention to M.I.B, you should probably jump on that because this powerhouse quartet is on their way. Personally, I think the boys can do without the heavy autotune in this song, but it doesn’t take away from their performance as a whole, which came stocked with talent and energy.

130421 Inkigayo, BTOB, “2nd Confession”

More adorable rookies. The boys that were born to beat break out the pretty boys charms for this track, and this fangirl is not complaining. Though it definitely doesn’t capture their vocal ability as well as their more ballady tracks, this light-hearted snake charmer of a song does the trick just as well.

130421 Inkigayo, 15&, “Somebody”

While “Somebody” still sounds too much to me like a WG scrap, this duo is hard to ignore thanks to those stunning vocals. And also their prints are just amazing for this concept.

130421 Inkigayo, Jay Park, “JOAH”

I. Freaking. Love. This. Song. And Jay sounds almost even better when belting it out live. So glad to have him back on stage singing a song that does him some justice.
