Here’s another open thread for “You From Another Star,” which aired episodes 16 and 17 this week.
I’ve only watched half of 16 (hey, this non-stop east coast weather gets tiring, okay?) but here are a few conversation starters for the week:
– Do you think this plot point about not being able to swap saliva (hence no kissy kissing!) is going to tire itself out? Or rather, how will that be realistically incorporated into this story if Do Min-joon and Cheon Song-yi really do get together? I mean, a girl’s gotta know, as properly portrayed by Song-yi’s timid questions about how they can’t “do more” beyond kissing, ha.
– The actor who plays Yoo Se-mi’s brother — actor Oh Sang-jin, as I have just learned — is quite a looker, but weirdly over-acted in that scene where his higher up tells him he’s being taken off the case. A quick perusal of Wikipedia tells me he’s only had cameos in other dramas. Hopefully he’ll be in more in the future.
– While we’re at it, Ahn Jae-hyun, playing Jeon Ji-hyun‘s little bro, is so pretty. That’s all I have to say about that.
Discuss amongst yourselves other less superficial things that I can’t conjure up at the moment.
