  • As a result of Covid-19 and its economic impact on various companies, Roots Entertainment has terminated all contracts with their artists, including the members of 3-year-old group Girls’ Alert. Saetbyeol has moved on to another company after being scouted and Narin has left the company. Jisung, Seulbi, and Gooseul have chosen to stay with the agency until the financial situation improves.
  • Back in 2016, the court had ordered Park Yoochun to compensate one of the victims who had accused him of sexual assault, yet he had failed to do so. As such, he attended court on April 22 over his failure to pay damages, where the ruling of “non-punishment” was given.
