Dr. Champ, SBS’ Monday-Tueday Kdrama that looks at the lives of Korea’s Olympic athletes and trainers living and working at Taereung National Village had one of its star showing off his, uh assets. Actor Jung Gyu-woon is Park Ji-heon a promising judo athlete who gets involved in a love triangle with an orthopedic doctor played by Kim So-yeon and the crippled director (Uhm Tae-woong) of the facility whose own Olympic career was cut short due to an injury.
In the scene, Ji-heon and the other Judo hopefuls (including SuJu’s Shindong) just completed training at a beach when the team grabs their coaches and throws them in the water. As everyone begins to play around in the ocean, Ji-heon starts to leave the others and a teammate chases after him. After exchanging a few words, Ji-heon makes to walk off when bam, his teammate pants him. Dude, aren’t you supposed to wear some underwear under those wet suits? Very risque for a Kdrama, but nice butt!
I haven’t been watching Dr. Champ (too caught up in SungKyunKwan Scandal (J4 FTW!) and Playful Kiss), but it’s definitely on my list of dramas to watch. I have been hearing positive reviews of the drama which has many comedic moments. Ratings for the drama have been decent lingering in the 10-12% range.
