If any of you have watched “Will it Snow For Christmas?” and loved Kim Soo-hyun‘s little part in it, this is the news for you. The twenty-two year old has been cast as the lead in the upcoming “Dream High” drama, which is a drama project between Keyeast Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. (Keyeast, for all of you who don’t know, is Bae Yong-joon’s entertainment agency, whose most recent high-profile contract was with SS501’s Kim Hyun-joong.)
“Dream High” has been dubbed a musical drama, where Kim’s character attends a music school after falling in love with the female lead who also goes there. Taecyeon of 2PM was part of many earlier rumors for the role, but apparently Kim Soo-hyun’s acting won over the casting directors.
Yippie yay! I loved Kim Soo-hyun’s rather short performance as the younger version of Go Soo’s Cha Kang-jin in “Will it Snow for Christmas?” and would love to see him in a cast with younger peers. (Also, how much does he look like SHINee’s Key? But like, a more handsome Key?)
