Headlines

• Park Haejin won the daesang award for his acting in Kkondae Intern at the 2020 MBC Drama Awards on Dec 30.
• Both the 2020 KBS Drama Awards and the 2020 SBS Drama Awards took place on Dec 31, with Choi Hojin taking home KBS’ daesang with his performance for Once Again, and Min Namgoong‘s performance in Stove League getting him the daesang win at SBS.
• BTOB‘s Ilhoon will be leaving the group after being caught for marijuana use, and BTOB will continuing on with six members.

Debuts & Comebacks

• Rolling Quartz bid farewell to 2020 with a bang in “Blaze.”
• Rain and JYP collaborated for an interesting “Switch To Me“.
• Fromis 9 pleasantly surprised fans with an MV for “Starry Night“, a b-side off My Little Society.
• “We Still (Be With U)” sang the members of Astro to their fans as they ended the year.

Teasers & Announcements

• MCND returns with “Crush” on Jan 8.
• (G)I-dle teased their Jan 11 release of I Burn with a concept preview.
• Victon‘s Voice: The Future Is Now is also due for a Jan 11 release.
• Treasure will come back with The First Step: Treasure Effect on Jan 11 as well.
• T1419 debuts on Jan 11 with Before Sunrise Part 1.
• Yubin‘s “Perfume” is scheduled for a Jan 13 release.
• Epik High Is Here. Part 1 drops on Jan 18. This is the first of Epik High‘s double-album release for their 10th studio album.
• Jan 18 also sees the release of Ab6ix‘s Salute: A New Hope.
• Oneus comes back with “Devil” on Jan 19.
• Golden Child‘s 5th mini-album releases on Jan 25.
• Chungha‘s “X” will release in January, although the exact date has to be revealed. This is ahead of her first studio album, Querencia, which is to be released this year.

Other News

• Gugudan has officially disbanded. We wish the best of luck to all the members in their future endeavours.
• Beenzino and Stefanie Michova got engaged on New Years’ Eve. Our congratulations to the couple!
