Headlines

  • BtoB‘s Ilhoon was been accused of illegally purchasing and using marijuana over the past five years. Both bank records and a hair follicle test have been cited as evidence. For their part, Cube Entertainment said they were previously unaware but will comply with the investigation.
  • Hong Jin Young, who was previously accused of plagiarizing her masters and doctoral thesis, has officially had her degrees revoked by Chosun University.
  • The Gwangju Family Court ruled that Goo Hara‘s estate shall be split 60/40 between her father and mother. Goo Hara’s estranged mother’s claims to her estate prompted the proposal of the Goo Hara Act to reform inheritance policies — banning parents who abandoned their children from access to any inheritance.

  • Uhm Jung Hwa, Hwasa, and DPR Live collaborated for “Hop In.”
  • Giriboy reflected on a lost romance in “It Was Love.” Our review will be out soon!
  • Stray KidsHyunjin shared the special song “Baby Star” in memory of his dog, Kkami.
  • Mamamoo‘s Moonbyul celebrated both her birthday and the holiday season with “A Miracle 3 Days Ago.”
  • Suhyun (AkMu) and Seungkwan (Seventeen) came together to cover Straight No Chaser‘s “Text Me Merry Christmas.”
  • 10cm returned with “Winter Breath” starring Gong Myung.
  • V (BTS) and Peakboy teamed up for the winter single, “Snow Flower.”
  • Jimin also shared a bit of “Christmas Love” with fans.
  • Naeun (Twice) covered Ariana Grande‘s “Love is Everything” while Dahyun also shared her piano version of “The First Noel” and “Silent Night.”
  • Lee Hi shared a special Christmas medley.

  • Taeyong suffered a herniated disk and will therefore be sitting out future activities, including NCT‘s Beyond Live concert.
  • Both Henry and RM were recognized by Arts Council of Korea as 2020 Patrons of the Arts.
  • The SBS Entertainment Awards were held last weekend with Kim Jong Kook taking home the award for Entertainer of the Year. Congrats!
