Saying that there is an outburst of solo debuts from group members lately would be an understatement: YG Entertainment keeps encouraging its artists to go solo or form sub-units, SM Entertainment seems to suddenly have gone crazy with its solo releases, and after the sub-unit craze we lived last year it seems now it’s time for group members to go solo.
Lots of them have tried, some with more success than others, but because we have to choose today’s SB Mixtape is all about group members who dared to go solo and tried something different to what they were used to. Because that’s the point of going solo, right?
