Everyone has tracks that make it into their heavy rotation. Songs or albums that you will continue to listen to frequently, years after they came out. The ones that you never forget.
But the flipside of that is that… there are songs that don’t. Ones you liked but just didn’t stick in your mind in quite the same way. Sitting on your phone, unplayed, until you forget they were there at all.
And when I got a new phone after a decade and subsequently had to spend 5 days reorganizing all my music files, I was reminded of just how much good music I had forgotten. I mean, some of these songs once ruled my playlists, but now I haven’t listened to them in five years!
Here is a but a small sample of songs that have made me wonder how I ever let that slip my mind.
