Welcome back to another installment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
Bursts of color on a palette of light shades and monochromatic backgrounds are a failsafe way to make any accessory or piece of clothing pop-out. A high dose of filters can also create mesmerizing contrasts. It is not necessary to highlight a part of the outfit to make colors pop across the photographic landscape. Props, too, can elevate a look. TWICE‘s Jeongyeon‘s understated dress meshes seamlessly with the lavender of the flowers around her while Seo Kang-joon‘s beige ensemble is paired with a navy chair. But the classic white background continues to be a favorite and allows the outfit to brush a stroke of rainbow across the image. Enjoy the following photographs for their creative use of contrasting hues.
