Welcome back to another installment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
In fashion, where colours and highlights go a long way in differentiating between styles, having photoshoots in black and white is certainly intriguing. The lack of colour, however, works in highlighting other elements, whether it is patterns, textures, or simply the facial expressions of the models. The frills on Yeji‘s suit collar stands out against the dark colour of the jacket fabric, and the same can be said of the prints on Seo Kang-joon‘s dress shirt. I also particularly love how the monochrome aesthetic draws our eyes to the emotions displayed by the models, whether it is the sultriness of Kim Hyo-jin or Shin Min-ah‘s more candid laughter. What do you think?
