Headlines

In Hybe news:
- Dispatch released more Min Hee-jin text messages in which she seemingly dismissed a staff member’s claims of being sexually assaulted, as well as discussed eliminating members from NewJeans‘ debut line-up.
- Dispatch later revealed Hybe as their source for the texts. In turn, Min Hee-jin filed a defamation lawsuit against five Hybe executives, and Hybe announced their intentions to counter sue.
- CEO Park Ji-won stepped down in part of a planned move towards Hybe 2.0. However, he will remain with the company.
- Ador released a lengthy statement refuting plagiarism claims againt NewJeans’ “Bubblegum.”
Sexual assault accusations were raised against actor Yoo Ah-in amid his ongoing illegal drugs trail. His lawyer has denied all claims, and police are investigating.

Red Velvet drop the 10th anniversary single “Sweet Dreams” on August 1.
Kim Myungsoo (Infinite‘s L) releases his first solo mini 24/7 on August 5.
Astro‘s San-ha also drops the solo mini Dusk on August 6.
Unis return with the single album Curious on August 6.
Bam Bam‘s third mini album Bamesis is out on August 8.
fromis_9 release the special single album Supersonic on August 12.
Hyolin shares the digital single “Wait” on August 12.
Lun8‘s new mini album Awakening is also set for release on August 12.
Following their debut, Katseye‘s first mini album SIS is due for August 16.
Nmixx make a much awaited return with Fe3O4: Stick Out on August 19.
Taemin also releases Eternal on August 19.
Zerobaseone teased their August comeback at KCON, but no official date has been announced.
Exo‘s Chanyeol also announced his August solo debut.
Fifty Fifty has re-grouped with new members, and released a silhouette teaser ahead of their new start.

Kang Daniel signed with ARA.
Cube issued an apology over the use of Red Cross logos on (G)I-dle‘s stage outfits.
2NE1 will reunite for a concert tour starting October in Seoul.
