Just when we thought Hottests could rejoice in 2PM glory, it looks like this main vocalist is going to fly solo in the land of the rising sun. JYP announced yesterday that Junho will be debuting as a soloist with title track “Kimi no Koe,” accompanied by a mini-album set to release on July 24th. According to the report from enewsWorld, Junho has been not only placed behind  the production of his own solo endeavor, but also put in charge of his own choreography and styling to his music video.

The track sounds ballady and emotional already and the teaser suggest a more drama-esque MV, so I’m not too sure what choreography could pop out of out this number, but we’ll wait and see. I’m glad to see Junho being given some creative control as well, as he is particularly skilled in songwriting and it would be nice to see him shine in other areas.

On other hand, it seems like Hottests can’t catch a break. Given that 2PM just came back after a long hiatus in their Korean activities, this news seem a bit prematurely announced. July still is ways off and 2PM is really only in their third or so week of promotions for “A.D.T.O.Y.” so I can’t seem to understand why JYP would want to make fans gripe about the group doing solo activities just yet. Not to say I’m sure many of you are stoked to see what Junho puts out–he’s got a good chunk of talent up his sleeve so I doubt we’ll be disappointed. All the same however, couldn’t we just have some 2PM group loving for a bit longer?
