Welcome back to another installment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
Although Father’s Day was last month, the dad aesthetic continues to permeate through pop culture and high fashion. 2017 and 2018 were the indisputable years of the dad fits, procuring trends from the now overdone baseball cap and the ironic fanny pack, to oversized Hawaiian shirts. You could say that during these past years, fashion has become over-saturated with paternal platitudes. Still, the dad style lingers in the world of fashion, with Steve Jobs-style turtlenecks, tucked in shirts, and clunky Jesus sandals running amok in magazine editorials and on the runway. Below are some of our favorite K-pop guys and one Ha Ji-won rocking dad-inspired pieces.
