For Your Viewing Pleasure: Angles and Illusions

Welcome back to another instalment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.

Every photo is framed through the eye of the camera, and a slight tilt of the lens or subtle soft focus can shift the shot to create a new perspective. While TXT’s Taehyun and actress Kim Min-ha opt for playful poses to capture the viewer’s attention, actor Seo In-guk and Baekhyun of Exo position themselves between shades of light and shadow for a more mysterious effect. BTS’ Jin is glimpsed through a collage of polaroid-style snaps on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, as Taemin of Shinee is seen beyond a glittering blur of water droplets. A special mention must go to Sakura, framed in fluid motion as she sashays down the catwalk in the concept photos for Le Sserafim’s new mini album.
