  • Lee Jinhyuk builds anticipation for the August 29 release of 5ight with music thumbnail. 
  • Rocket Punch will also make their comeback on August 29 with “Flash.” 
  • Key gave an early look at “Gasoline” during SMTown Suwon. He also shared the preview video for “Another Life” and the lyric video for “Proud.” The full album Gasoline comes out August 30. 
  • Mamamoo’s first subunit Mamamoo+ will make their debut on August 30 with “better ft Big Naughy. 
  • Billie builds hype for the August 31 release of The Billage of Perception: Chapter Two with track drops for the album’s b-sides.
  • Day6 sparkle in MV stills for “Beach Darling.” The MV is set to drop on August 31.
  • Blaming Tiger will collaborate with BTS’s RM for September 1 release of “Sexy Nukim.” 
  • Oneus are set to comeback September 5 with Malus. 
  • Lee Changsub will release Reissue #001 Surrender on September 6. 
  • Kangta reveals comeback schedule for September 7 release of Eyes on You.
  • Jackson Wang continues to tease his return with Magic Man on September 9. 
  • Weki Meki’s Choi Yoojung will make her solo debut with “Sunflower” on September 14. 
  • Black Pink’s album Born Pink will drop September 16.  
  • NCT 127 start #NeoSeoulChallenge to garner attention for the September 16 release of 2 baddies. 
  • NMixx will make their first comeback on September 19 with “ENTWURF”
  • Cravity will be releasing their 4th mini New Wave sometime in September. 

Other News

  • Mnet Asian Music Awards will be rebranded as MAMA Awards starting this year.
  • Sandara Park, SNSD’s Sunny, and Itzy’s Chaeryeong have all tested positive for Covid-19.
  • Twice’s Jihyo will not participate in “Talk That Talk” promotions due to testing positive for Covid-19.
  • TVXQ Yunho has also tested positive for Covid and will sit out SMTown Tokyo.
  • The male version of My Teenage Girl will air early next year. 
  • Lee Ki-woo will tie the knot with his non celebrity girlfriend at the end of September.
