Welcome back to another instalment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
Light and colour are instrumental in framing fashion photography. But what happens when both are taken away? Seen in silhouette and shades of monochrome, this collection of pictures showcases how simplicity can capture the sense of a statement look. Actress Gong Seung-yeon and Seventeen’s Seungkwan both look sharp in suits, the tailored lines accentuated by the black-and-white palette. Faded colours capture the fractured silhouette created by actor Byeon Woo-seok’s distressed jacket and bring out the glitter of the delicate jewellery worn by Seventeen’s Woozi. A special mention must go to Taeyong of NCT, and his playful pairing of a cartoon-print hoodie with a delicate Celine purse. Flick through these photos to find your favourite.
