Welcome to another edition of SB Week in Review. Here’s all the news you might have missed over the past week:
Headlines
- Historical drama Snowdrop has received major backlash since the airing of the first two episodes. Petitions calling for its cancellation have begun to circulate online. JTBC released a statement that the drama will continue to air, and they hope that future episodes clear up any interpretations of “historical distortion.”
- The 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards were held on December 25, with Moon Se-yoon taking home the grand prize.

- Moonbyul shared a special MV for “Chemistry” ahead of her third mini album 6equence on January 19.
- Another pre-release single will drop on December 30.
- Hyolyn had a warm Christmas in the MV for “A-Ha.”
- TXT released their holiday song, “Sweet Dreams.”
- Stray Kids goofed around in their “company version” MV for “Placebo” as part of the release of SKZ 2021.
- Somi gifted fans the MV for “Anymore” on Christmas.

- Bam Bam put out another concept teaser for the pre-release single “Who Are You” (ft Red Velvet‘s Seulgi) which drops on December 28.
- Kim Jaehwan released the concept film for his December 28 mini, The Letter.
- IU shared a sneak peek of her December 29 single, “Pieces.”
- Kep1er will debut with First Impact on January 3.
- P1Harmony will also return on the third with Disharmony: Find Out. The group also shared the MV teaser for “Do It Like This.”
- Up10tion will release Novella, also on January 3.
- On the same day, Blisterz will return with “Bobbin.”
- On January 4, Onewe will be back with the mini album Voyager.
- WJSN Chocome will make their return with “Super Yuppers” on January 5.
- Omega X have released a handful of video teasers for Love Like Me, out on January 5.
- New boy group Trendz will debut on January 5 with Chapter 1.
- H1-Key will also debut with Athletic Girl on the same day.
- Alexa will be back on January 6.
- Eric Nam‘s new album There and Back Again is scheduled for a January 7 release.
- Wheein will release her solo album Whee on January 16.
- APink is confirmed for a February comeback.
