While we can all agree that 2020 was an awful, tumultuous year, it’s too soon to know whether this new year will follow suit. Some are excited, others are filled with dread, and yet some are nonplussed, going about their every day regardless of the numerical changes in a calendar. There is also the dissonance felt regarding the perception of outside events versus one’s own life experiences. Meaning, life itself may be fine or uneventful, but with all that is going on outside, everything might feel heavy from the outside in.
In response to all of these conditions is a playlist carefully curated to jumpstart the inner healing process (cue in yoga music). But no really, I hope listening to this mixtape can help you unwind after a long day, or provide some company during a lonely, empty night.
