Welcome back to another installment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
90s-era style has been steadily staging its return to the fashion world, with everything from bucket hats to crop tops making their mark on the catwalk. Two decades since their debut, the resurgence shows no sign of waning and the beginning of 2020 finds the pages of Seoul’s fashion magazines filled with colourful corduroy and double denim.
While Lee Hyori styles flares in a pretty lilac colour perfect for spring, Exo’s Kai keeps his look suave in shades of umber. Astro’s Cha Eunwoo proves double denim can be cool again in his all-black ensemble, while actor Jung Hae-in makes it work just as well in white. A special mention must go to Jaemin of NCT Dream, who not only rocks a cute corduroy jacket, but caps off the look with a bucket hat. Could this be any more nostalgic? Flick through these photos to find your favourite 90s throwback.
