Welcome back to For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.
This year, Victorian-era inspired styles have come back in full swing. Present on the catwalks of Lemaire and Valentino to the mannequin displays inside fast fashion chain stores like Zara or H&M, the classic clothing and accessories inspired by the effeminate late 1800s are almost inescapable. Balloon sleeves, ruffles, high collars, and neck ribbons are all easily recognizable features of Victorian fashion. Take a glance at some of these Korean editorials and how they inject Victorian styles with some 2017 flair.
