Headlines

  • SM Entertainment terminated its contract with Taeil who is currently under investigation for quasi-rape.
  • NewJeansHanni and newly appointed Ador CEO Kim Ju-young appeared before the National Assembly to speak on workplace harassment and bullying. While valid questions were raised against the CEO concerning Hybe‘s business practices outside of the NewJeans situation and idol worker status, the session was also regarded by some as a publicity stunt on the part of the National Assembly that did little to address larger problems within the industry.
    • Min Hee-jin was reappointed to her role as inside director for Ador.

  • Seventeen teamed up with DJ Khalid for “Love, Money, Fame.”
    • The B-side MV for “Eyes on You” will be released on October 21.
  • CNBlue went back to the basics for “A Sleepless Night.”
  • Xdinary Heroes were fallen angels in “Night Before the End.”
  • Epex were smitten in the pre-release “My Girl.”
  • Itzy made a dazzling return with “Gold.”
    • The B-side MV for “Imaginary Friend” will be out on October 28.
  • Kiss of Life were ready to have a good time with “Get Loud.”
  • Billlie tasted their memories in “Remembrance Candy.”
  • One Pact returned with “Deserved.”
  • Rose and Bruno Mars came together for “Apt.”

Teasers & Announcements

  • Aespa proclaimed a new era in the MV teaser for “Whiplash.” The album of the same name will be out on October 21.
  • Illit played with the metaphor of wisdom teeth in the MV teaser for “Cherish (My Love).” I’ll Like You comes out on October 21.
  • Purple Kiss will return on October 22 with “On My Bike.”
  • Ampers&One will drop their first mini album One Question also on the 22nd.
  • Triple S unit Visionary Vision will “Hit the Floor” on October 23.
  • Jaehyun (NCT) will release the single “Unconditional” on October 24 ahead of his enlistment next month.
  • The Boyz shared the highlight medley for Trigger, out on October 28.
  • BabyMonster will drop the pre-release MV for “Click Clack” ahead of their November 1 return with Drip. Meanwhile, the group has been teasing individual tracks from the album.
  • Solar will release “First Love” as the eighth installment of Solar Gamsung on October 29.
  • StayC will be back with a digital single on October 30.
  • Kep1er shared the track list for their November 1 return with “Tipi-Tap.”
  • TXT have begun to tease their November 4 comeback with The Star Chapter: Sanctuary.
  • Shinee‘s Minho will release his first full album Call Back on November 4.
  • Jin will drop his first solo album Happy on November 14, with concept teasers already dropping.
