- Parasite won Film of the Year at the London Films‘ Critics Circle Award, as did Bong Joon-ho for the Director of the Year.
- The Seoul Music Awards took place on Jan 30, with BTS winning the Album Daesang and Taeyeon the Digital Daesang.
- Seungri has been indicted (without detention) for mediating prostitution services, habitual gambling, and violation of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act. The same has been done to Choi Jonghoon for intention to bribe.

- NCT 127 gifted fans with “Dreams Come True“.
- Golden Child returned with groovy “Without You“.
- Dreamcatcher‘s Siyeon made a solo debut with “Paradise“.
Teasers & Announcements
- GFriend will return with 回: Labyrinth on Feb 3.
- Everglow will drop “Dun Dun” on Feb 3 as well.
- Loona makes a long-awaited comeback with # on Feb 5.
- iKon makes their comeback on Feb 6 with i DECIDE, although the title track has been co-written and co-composed by former member B.I.
- After a long six years, 8Eight will release a single on Feb 7.
- Rocket Punch will drop their second album, Red Punch, on Feb 10.
- KARD comes back on Feb 12 with their fourth mini-album, Red Moon.
- Monsta X releases their first full English album, All About Luv, on Feb 14.
- Following the release of single “Black Swan”, BTS will return with Map Of The Soul: 7 on Feb 21.

- Jessica has recently released a short excerpt from her YA book, Shine, which releases in October 2020.
- Idol Room is coming to an end on Feb 11, the show ending with Sechskies as its final guest.
