Welcome back to For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take the time out of the week to share with our readers some of the most recent fashion-forward photos tied to the K-pop landscape.

The year of 2013 seems to be the year of the “flower boys” — in more ways than one. Along with new boy groups springing up right and left, floral print has managed to also infiltrate K-pop male fashion at full force.

An earlier appearance of floral in boyband promotions was Boyfriend‘s “Love Style” in 2012:

In 2013, SHINee also picked up the floral for their “Dream Girl” comeback. In their promotional photos, Key wore a floral suit from clothing brand Peu A Peu, Onew wore a pair of women’s floral tapered skinny jeans from UNIQLO, and Taemin wore a floral cap and teddy bear shirt from Joyrich.

In the MV, Key and Jonghyun also wore women’s floral jeans, from Stolen Girlfriends Club:

If you thought that Minho was spared, you thought wrong, as he dons this brown floral contraption (thankfully, he appears to be wearing men’s pants):

G.O. also wears similar jeans to Onew’s in MBLAQ‘s “Smoky Girl” MV:

Infinite also sported floral for their “Man In Love” promotions, particularly for the Japanese version of the song:

The floral virus wasn’t restricted to idols, either. Bang Sung-joon wore a flowing monochrome floral shirt from the Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection of Korean designer Wooyoungmi whilst posing on a toilet for the March 2013 issue of Cosmopolitan:

Comedian Kim Giri poses in a Wooyoungmi suit jacket from the same collection for the March 2013 issue of Vogue:

Kim Woo-bin wore the exact same Wooyoungmi suit jacket in a photoshoot with fellow model-turned-actor Lee Jong-suk for the March 2013 issue of @Star1:

Lee Jong-suk wasn’t able to escape the floral trend either, as he poses in a shorter jacket from the same collection, for the June 2013 issue of Vogue Girl:

Hoya dons the same jacket over a Wooyoungmi shirt from the same collection while boxing with fellow group-mate L, who is wearing bird print for the May 2013 issue of Vogue:

2AM‘s Changmin wears the same ensemble for the March 2013 issue of Harper’s Bazaar:

Super Junior‘s Kangin sports the Wooyoungmi print shirt underneath his polka-dotted suit in the April 2013 issue of CeCi:

Exo‘s Tao dons a shirt with a similar print from clothing brand CRITIC while at the airport:

Ahead of the curve, fashionista G-Dragon also posed for the March 2012 issue of Vogue in a similar print from Celine‘s 2012 resort collection:

Super Junior’s Yesung rocks a floral suit from the Kim Seo-ryong Homme Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the March 2013 issue of CeCi:

Lee Chun-hee (of recent Cyrano fame) wears the same suit in the July 2013 issue of Marie Claire. This suit is by and far my favorite out of the floral suits seen in K-pop so far. The classic black suit color that frames the face and legs keeps the suit manly and sophisticated, and more importantly, not overdone.

I really can’t say the same about poor CNU‘s getup for B1A4‘s July 2013 Cosmopolitan photoshoot:

Similarly unflattering is Kai’s strangely puffy floral sweatshirt for Exo’s June 2013 CeCi shoot:

Not even the dignified Lee Byung-hun was able to escape this trend. He poses in an abstractly floral suit with actress Catherine Zeta-Jones for the upcoming August 2013 issue of Elle:

What are your thoughts, readers? Do you find this year’s floral fashion befitting of the flower boys of K-pop? Or have you had more than enough of it already?

Personally, I think we could have had it much, much worse. Just be glad that DBSK‘s psychedelic owl suits never caught on. Or JYP‘s plastic pants.
