This month saw the beginning of K-pop Queen Lee Hyori‘s new venture with singer-songwriter pal Jung Jae-hyung. The duo now host the music-oriented chat show You & I on SBS, and so they took part in a fashion shoot and interview for the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar to promote it. With the article titled “Play With Us” the entertainers were styled in funky patterns and bright colors from labels like Prada, KTZ, 10 Corso Como and Aldo. Combined with childish props, they showed their friendly and mischievous chemistry in the delightful pictorial. In the first photo, Hyori shows off her most famous asset in a funky floral bodysuit from Prada’s recent Resort 2012 collection, worn with a pair of platform sandals from Aldo–don’t tell netizens, but those shoes are totally made of leather! Jung Jae-hyung is the picture of pastel perfection in his suit.  The Thom Browne by 10 Corso Como jacket may seem familiar to VIPs, since G-Dragon recently wore the same piece when Big Bang appeared on Healing Camp. Jung is also sporting a pair of Dr Marten’s Adrian loafers (instead of the more common high-ankled style).

Hyori’s solo shot shows the singer acting acting out a parental nightmare moment–show of hands for those of us who took scissors to our own hair as youngsters–but she looks cute doing so with her bubble gum pink lips and rainbow-colored star print tank. Jung Jae-hyung pulls along a T-rex balloon while wearing a black and blue ensemble that is well-suited to the performer’s usual eclectic style. The blue Repetto dance shoes are fabulous!

Hyori looks a little awkward in the pink Manish Arora dress (previously seen as a red carpet look on You & I’s first guest IU). It appears that she’d experience an embarrassing fashion moment if she actually stood up straight. On the plus side, her Aldo shoes are a flawless complement to the spring frock. Jung Jae-hyung’s look features a few KTZ pieces from the label’s Fall collection.  The neon geometric print of the pants and shoes may match, but the outfit is just a little too wacky. The final shot shows the pair in their best styles–quirky, but not overly so. Variety fans will recognize Hyori’s spunky attitude, while her partner looks completely adorable being held a water-gunpoint with his giant lollipop. Highlights of these styles are shoes from Burberry Prorsum (hers) and Dr. Marten’s (his) as well as his lemony frames.
