Suzy, currently taking a break from her singing duties as an idol with miss A, and seeing success with her drama “Dream High,” is taking on another challenging role- cheerleader for a fellow classmate also looking to break out into the KPOP scene.
Suzy’s classmate Hwang Ji Hwan is currently a contestant on MBC’s program “Star Audition: Birth of a Great Star,” (kinda like the “American Idol” of KPOP, if you will), and she sent him a recorded message cheering him on for the program.
Looks like Suzy’s support helped! Ji Hwan made it through to the second round with his cover of the Wonder Girls’ perennial hit “Nobody”! It’s nice having the support of an idol, but I would say even more so from friends and family. Good luck to him!
