This month is going to be crazy with all the comebacks from artists A through Z in the Kpop spectrum, but Super Junior is bound to be one of the most anticipated out of the bunch. Their 4th album, ‘Bonamana‘, is scheduled to drop on May 13th and the MV is set to be released on the 12th. The title song 미인아 (Bonamana)‘ was only released yesterday but–surprise, surprise–it’s already topping various online charts. With its funky vibe and repetitive lyrics, is it going to be the next ‘Sorry, Sorry’? We will have to wait and see.

Speaking of funky, that is exactly how the genre was described. SJ FUNKY (SUPER JUNIOR FUNKY), for the record. Whatever the genre means, at least we know it’s theirs–it has their name stamped all over it.

What do you think of the song so far? Does it sound like a cross between ‘Sorry, Sorry’ and ‘Ring Ding Dong’ like so many are saying, or is it completely different? I just think it’s funny how Ryeowook’s voice doesn’t seem affected by the auto-tune.

After ‘Sorry, Sorry’, I have been liking the men of SuJu more and more. Heck, I’m as close to being a full-fledged fan than I ever thought I’d be. With all that said, I’m so curious to see how the group’s live performance will turn out. At least we won’t have to wait long–their comeback stage is scheduled for KBS Music Bank on May 14th.
