Welcome back to another week of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.

Within the realm of streetwear, there are numerous sub-categories with the suffix “core” — think of last year’s normcore trend, or the ever so frowned-upon mallcore. Slackercore, frequently used interchangeably with the term comfycore, is exactly what it may sound like. One can think of it as bumming out in style; the type of fashion where comfort does not have to be sacrificed for fashion, where socks with sandals are the norm rather than the anathema. It frequently overlaps with skate fashion, boasting loose-fitting silhouettes and Vans Old Skools with ankle length socks. Other common characteristics of slackercore include casually styled button-ups, straight-fitting pants, other kinds of low top shoes, and the juxtaposition of more formal pieces with casual ones (i.e. slacks with sneakers or dress shoes with jeans). Below are some of our favorite idols and actors slacking in style.
