20130717_seoulbeats_xia_junsu_incredibleJYJ’s Junsu (Xia) will be having a special orchestral concert at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul. The concert, entitled “2014 Xia Ballad and Musical Concert with Orchestra,” will feature the singer’s ballads, songs from drama soundtracks, and songs from the various musicals Junsu has starred in. Junsu has done quite well after beginning his solo career and forming JYJ in 2010, so there is plenty of material to choose from. He has contributed songs to many drama soundtracks including “Love is Like a Snowflake” for The Innocent Man/Nice Guy (세상 어디에도 없는 착한남자), “I Love You” for Empress Ki (기황후), and “That Time When I Loved You” for the new drama Mister Baek (미스터 백).

The singer has also starred in a few musicals including Mozart, Tears of Heaven, and Elisabeth. Director Kim Mun-jeong, who worked with Junsu in his theater career, will be taking charge of the concert. The concert will be December 30 and 31, and it will be the fourth time Junsu has treated his fans to such a unique concert. Three years ago Junsu held his first ballad and musical concert with a live orchestra, and the concert has become an annual treat for Junsu and fans alike. So Junsu fans, are there any songs in particular you’d love to see with a live orchestra?
