Ah, every time I try to get this out a little earlier, it’s goes a little later, but when life and a tsunami coming your way interferes with your Kpop blogging…  there’s just nothing that you can do.  So here’s not the Wednesday or Thursday, but Friday edition of 5 Things.  This week’s 5 Things is about CFs, and varieties, and dramas- oh, my.  These are the 5 Things that happened in Kpop last week that I think were a little bit more special than the rest

Cute CFs… I’d buy it

I’m such a promotions pushover.  Two cute CFs were released last week, one by Won Bin and the other by Nichkhun.  Won Bin’s CF was a Secret Garden parody for SK Telecom.

And, Nichkhun’s was for LG‘s U+ long distance calling and featured his family.

Awww, aren’t you sold, too.

Oh Ji-ho on Running Man

Oh Ji-ho was the guest for this week’s episode of Running Man and he almost escaped the clutches of the those running men as he led them on a merry chase.  Here’s my fave clips from the show during the games, where Oh Ji-ho learns that cheating is a given.

1N2D welcomes their new member

1N2D‘s new member, actor Uhm Tae-woong, got a rude awakening for his first day on the job.  The other five members ambushed the unsuspecting Tae-woong and helped him to get ready, to his dismay.

With an apartment that big (and living with his mother), why the heck would he be sleeping in the living room?  At least his dog tried to protect him, too bad it was like 100 times smaller than Kang Ho-dong

Girls that got the beat

This drumming corp of girls really know how to jam on the one.  It really takes some guns to be able to pound on the drums like these girls do.  LOVED the performance.

Other highlights included some ‘unique’ exercise regimens, and adorable triplets with some awesome musical talent who did a cute duet with Moon Hee-jun to “A Whole New World.”

And last, but certainly not least…

The end of one Dream…

Yeah, I LOVED the last episode of Dream High.  I think it tied up all the ends nicely without being too unrealistc/fairy tale happy ending-ish.  I pretty much thought from the beginning that Sam-dong would end up being K, but the writers did a pretty good job of keeping you guessing with the passing of the K pendant.  I think all the actors did a pretty good job (I’m not a really harsh critic though), but I’m definitely a new fan of Suzy, Wooyoung, IU, and of course the wonderful Kim Soo-hyun.  I was a little disappointed in the concert…  it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be.  Here’s my fave part from the finale, Hye-mi singing “Only Hope.”

Those were the 5 things that I LOVED in Kpop last week, were they yours?
