[Photos] Girls’ Generation tells you What A Girl Wants

Girls’ Generation hits up W magazine for a high fashion winter spread in their December issue. The theme is varied but highlights nine different styles on the girls.

Personally liking Yoona‘s outfit, and Sunny‘s (albeit the high ribbon collar and embellishments). I would’ve chosen something else from D&G’s lush Nordic collection though.

Side note too: Lately, each time I look at Sooyoung and Tiffany, I don’t quite recognise them… Check it out.

Sooyoung – Neo Military Girl. Dress by Gucci.

Taeyeon – The Snow White. Fur coat and cossack by Fury.

Jessica – Wild Nordic Girl. Nordic bodysuit by D&G. Boots by Chanel.

Sunny – Lovely Lolita. Dress by Miu Miu. Booties by Pedro Garcia by La Collection.

Yuri – Elegant Couture Girl. Wedding dress and headpiece by Deni Cheur.

Tiffany – Antique Lacy Doll. Lace top by Christopher Kane by Corso Como. Lace skirt by D&G. Open-toe strap shoes by What I Want.

Seohyun – Delicate Grunge Girl. Navy knit mini-dress by Vanessa Bruno. Tulle skirt by Deni Cheur. Hat is stylist's own.

    They look really pretty here. I love Yuri’s and Seohyun’s pictures especially. But I have to agree. I didn’t recognize Tiffany at all – in fact, I thought it was Yuri at first. And Sooyoung’s nose looks completely different now.

    Looking at Tiffany I know what I want to wear at upcoming New Year party. I’ll just blatantly copy it (okay, [i]loosely[/i] copy), it looks pretty and comfortable, not to mention really easy to sew. And I agree, Tiffany doesn’t look like herself here. When I see her and Sooyoung in recent videos I don’t feel that they are much different, but on these photos they are hard to recognize, especially Tiffany.
    I also like Sunny’s dress, if we take out that thing around her neck and all that shiny flowers it’s good to wear in real life. And Jessica’s bodysuit is so-o fun, sadly, for someone with less curves then I have TT
    Poor Yoona, it’s not short of epic achievement – to make her look bad, but the stylist managed it with that hair. And socks. Ew. And that thing on Seohyun’s head looks like condom. Ew again.

    And Sooyoung was prettier pre-surgery. :/

          Oh. I know that a bunch of celebrities get surgery. I knew Tiffany did, but I didn’t know that Sooyoung did. I thought she looked like her predebut pictures. I just thought she lost weight.

            I agree with you Geoff. I was pretty shocked that it’s a normal thing to get surgery done in SK. And then I heard recently, that there’s this one clinic in Seoul, I think, that is giving free plastic surgery to high school seniors of this year as a present for when they pass their college entrance exams, and that they would give their moms discounts on botox. And what shocked me even more was, you know when you get in to college? The normal gift to receive from your parents is, for example, a car. But in SK, parents gift their kids money to get plastic surgery done (I guess only for the families that can afford it). That’s basically like the parents are saying to their kids “you’re ugly, go get yourself a face job” That just…I don’t even have words for it 0_o….

    it’s really just up to the photographer not the model or celebrity. trust me every celebrity you see in a magazine is photoshop beside tabloids magazine, where they want to reveal the “truth.”

      Well then they need to get the American photographers and magazine staff of photo shoots who edit the models’ pictures because at least the models still look like themselves, just smoother and leaner.

      SNSD’s photos are almost always photoshopped, sometimes to the point that they’re barely unrecognizable and their features looking botched, so you get people thinking they’ve had plastic surgeries which may be true for some, but the photoshop is too much when it’s so obvious.

      They had one picture where they looked like it was just one body and their heads were just photoshopped into it: same length of legs, same torso, same arms…it was very creepy, all because they have to look the same all the time in terms of height and thinness.

    Taeyeon-can’t see her eyes in this picture clearly. A good thing.
    Yoona-It’s bad enough she looks like a skeletal lizard, but someone had to put a bowl on her head to cut her fringe.
    Jessica-White tights with white background. Bad combo, unflattering to the legs. Looks like a Yeti.
    Sunny-lots of photoshop on face and legs. Unrecognizable to her usual piggy face. A very good thing.
    Yuri- once again lots of photoshop- also unrecognizable from usual masculine face. Very good.
    Tiffany-someone stop this girl from fixing her face. regardless looks better than she use to with help of surgery and photoshop.
    Seohyun-the only one I could recognize without needing to read the tab. Could learn to have more varied expressions but the only one that doesn’t make me want to barf when looking at her.

    Oh my…Sunny? Are you in there?
    Sooyoung’s, Hyeyeon’s and Yuri’s are great, although Sooyoung doesn’t really look like herself.
    I love Tiffany’s dress, but I swear everytime I see her she looks completely different. Kinda like Johnny Depp.
    I have no words for Yoona’s. Sometime I think I get high fashion, and then they go and do something like this. =/
