Five years ago today (in Korea) on November 6, 2005, the previously unfathomable idol super group with a whopping 13 members called Super Junior debuted on Inkigayo with the song “Twins.”

While they have been through much over the years in their quest for super stardom, and especially a lot of controversy in the past year, they have been able to stand together while also pursuing their personal activities.  With mandatory enlistment approaching for several of the group’s members here’s to wishing that SuJu can continue where many other groups have failed… staying together.

For your viewing pleasure, Super Junior’s debut performance.

Their biggest hit.

Congratulations Leeteuk, Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum, and Kyuhyun for five years of making fans happy with thirteen choices to choose from.   Wishing you much continued success in the future.  Fans are trending #5YearsWithSuju.
