After 5 years, SuJu still “Separate, but Together”

Five years ago today (in Korea) on November 6, 2005, the previously unfathomable idol super group with a whopping 13 members called Super Junior debuted on Inkigayo with the song “Twins.”

While they have been through much over the years in their quest for super stardom, and especially a lot of controversy in the past year, they have been able to stand together while also pursuing their personal activities.  With mandatory enlistment approaching for several of the group’s members here’s to wishing that SuJu can continue where many other groups have failed… staying together.

      yeh, i don’t think i actually like any of their tracks, well except for “it’s you”, that one’s a gem. It was really through watching their collabs with dbsg and full house that i came to like them. oh how i miss those good ol’ days…

      Then you honestly can’t love superjunior.. Thats how they started off. The music. They all sticked together and they had the hardest times but they still kept going on, without some of their members…..

    seriously, what happened to kim ki bum?? It’s so suspicious. I know he is pursuing acting, but Choi Si Won has been doing more acting stuff than him. Does Kim Ki Bum want to leave and SM doesn’t want to announce it? Is he getting his college degree right now, but want to go it incognito???

      lol that whole excuse about kibum focusing on acting is such bs. other members have already did dramas and the boy is still MIA.

      It’s laughable that Kibum’s been MIA for almost two years now to concentrate on an acting career. He’s had only a play and a 15-minute role in a movie to show for, while Siwon, Heechul, Sungmin, Donghae, and Shindong have all scored themselves drama gigs while promoting 2 Super Junior albums and concert tours.

      Hell, even other SMTowners (Jessica, Kyuhyun, Onew, Jay, Dana, Yunho, and Changmin) have had more (or more visible) acting gigs than him. They’ve been everywhere for the past year, while Kibum is nowhere to be seen.

    Aw, Kpop was so much more fun and exciting 5 years ago. Also, their choreography for “Twins” is insane! Much more interesting that the choreography they do now. Seems like they’re lip-syncing, though.

    “U” was my first K-pop video. It didn’t thrill me (it was mostly the hair…and the hip thrusts). I’m glad I gave “Sorry, Sorry” a chance. Super Junior will always be my fav k-group. Well done, boys!

    Hey if 2PM can still be 2PM while losing a member then sho nuff Super Junior can survive without 3 members but they are no longer 13 not if Hangeng has anything to say about that. Just like DBSK is no longer exist with JYJ on their own now
