It’s a comeback rumble on the Bank with the boys of 2AM taking on the vixens of SNSD.  Who wins the showdown won’t be know until next week’s results, but this is how the battle went down.  First up was 2AM singing their two new comeback songs “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls” and “Like Crazy.”  The boys looked oh, so suave in their all black suits and I don’t think I’ve ever heard Seulong sing better in any performance.  Check out 2AM’s performance of “You Wouldn’t Answer My Calls,” gave me goosebumps.

2AM changes it up a little going mostly white for “Like Crazy.”  Another great performance from 2AM, but will it be enough t0 overcome the 9 ladies of SNSD?  See for yourself.

The Kpop princesses return home with “Hoot.”  The girls look great in their James Bond (Austin Powers) inspired outfits and I have to admit their arrow/bow, Robin Hood, whatever dance move is sexaay, but I still don’t know if I give a hoot about “Hoot.”  I am not a SNSD hater or anti, I love Taeyeon, Sunny, and Seohyun, but I have been underwhelmed by all of their recent songs.  LoL at all the fanboys cheering in the audience.

This week’s winner was 2PM with their comeback song “I’ll Be Back.”  Thank the Kpop gods that someone finally told 2PM’s stylists to stop putting the god-awful glitter eyeshadow on the boys.

I’ll Be surprised if they’re Back at the top of Music Bank next week with the strong competition from their bros 2AM and SNSD added into the mix, but you never know with Hottest.  I have a feeling the Girls just might shoo, shoo, shoot down the competition.

Other performances of the night included: Sori, Outsider, Nine Muses, NS Yoon Ji,TOUCH, U-KISS, Rainbow, Ga-in, Miss A, Beast, Se7en, SHINee (the boys survived their first performance unscathed since Jonghyun’s dating debacle went down), and PSY.  If you wanna see any of these performances check out the Carrot who’s a lot more known than he thinks here.  Act fast, you know how it is on YT.

* Sorry for the earlier mix up these are performances from Music Bank not Mnet M! Countdown.  I’ll blame the error on the emotional roller coaster going on last night: extreme happiness that JYJ’s Hawaii concert was actually on to extreme despair when finding out just how much I’ll have to pay if I wanna go ($75 – 200!?!!).
