Park Shin Hye In New Idol Drama

Actress Park Shin Hye will be starring in a Taiwanese idol drama called “Hayate the Combat Butler”, based on a popular manga of the same name. Park will act alongside George Hu, who’s been training intensively in martial arts and…house chores in preparation for the drama. The two met earlier in August but had little to say to each other due to the language barrier. Hu described her as “very quiet, skinny, and very cute.” Way to woo a lady with your charming words.

I always wonder how people act with one another when they can’t understand each other. At least they look cute together.

    AWKWARD IN THE BEGIN.. BEC IS WEIRD Oo but than is ok ^^ even you can´t speak the same language you can always use your hand and make some signs is always works ^^

    the anime is so ridiculously exaggerated and hilarious, i wonder how that will be able to pan out in live action

    What I read the characters in the manga are 13 and 16 so they have aged the characters a lot!
    Will she have a translator on set with her ? That would sound the most logical is she can’t speak the language. Also she most likely will learn to say her lines phonetically a la Zhiyi Zhang in Moag.

    wew! i can’t believe it’t really destiny or what.
    park shin hye are drama carrer are look alike yoon eun hye’s.
    last year yoon eun hye played as kang hyena in “take care my young lady/my fair lady” that adapted japanese manga “hayate combat butler” and now park shin hye also played as “nagi sanzenin (in japan manga, not sure what is taiwanese name)” in hayate combat butler taiwanese adaptation.
