BoA to unveil new songs from album
If any of you were disappointed by the ‘Game’ MV you’ll have a chance to sample a little more from BoA’s upcoming album.
According to SM Entertainment, BoA will release the songs ‘Yeop Saram’ and ‘Game’ on music sites Melon, DoSiRak, Soribada, and Bugs on the 28th.
“Yeop Saram” in particular is a ballad by Kim Dong Ryul that was given to BoA to record. SM revealed some information about the song:
An official from SM says, “Kim Dong Ryul’s ballad has a sad melody and its touching lyrics is about hiding your feelings from someone you love that’s right beside you, only to just watch him/her. BoA will depart from her usual trademark extravagant performances to demonstrate more matured vocals and different music.”
‘Game’ will also be available for download on the 28th as well, which will culminate in the album’s release on August 5th, with the title track “Hurricane Venus.”
It appears some people were let down by the ‘Game’ MV, but so far whatever BoA has planned looks interesting. Besides after five years, would anyone with her experience really settle for mediocrity?
