I agree, he’s the most photogenic of the group. Personally I don’t mind him giving the same face, he’s an entertainer first (singer/rapper, dancer, actor), he’s not a professional model so it doesn’t matter to me. He’s one of the sexiest men alive period, same expression or not!! If that’s the only expression he “masters” then I say he needs to stick with it, cause that same expression is always hot to me!!
I agree that he only has, like, one expression when he models, but I wouldn’t call it “cocky” at all. More like a combination of angst/intense concentration (about what I have no clue, lol). There’s no i’msoamazingandtotallybetterthanyou vibe about it, from what I see.

Hey! I watched Twilight today…my life called and it wants its two hours back.
First my IQ dropped about 30 points when I tried to skim a page of the “novel.” Now, hours after watching that joke of a movie, I’m convinced the people behind the franchise performed a lobotomy on me during that time, in the hopes of making me stupid enough to buy into all the hype. It didn’t work.
As far as Yunho goes: he’s talented and hard working enough to deserve his acclaims. Face wise he probably had more variety, but this is what they chose. I don’t think it’s the best angle on him, but he’s still better looking than plenty of people. Yunho’s homely is another man’s comely. Yunho’s good looking is this gal’s delight!
You must be joking. They dug Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart out of what? A giant bucket of talent? Maybe they should be shooed away b/c Lord knows there are PLENTY of more talented actors who can replace them.

if you find him overrated fine, but to say he’s not talented at all is bit of a stretch. Yes he is not the best singer in dbsk, but he has gotten better and imo sounds a hell of a lot better than most idol singers and imo I’d take his voice of yoochun (sorry chunnie, still love you) and despite his repitious wavy arm dancing thing, he can actually dance well and is a good leader.

I have to agree. I’d take Yunho’s voice over Yuchun’s any day. Talking and rapping Yuchun has sexiness oozing out of him, playing the piano he becomes Prince Charming, he’s great in harmony, but when he sings he sounds like a muppet: Yoda, Kermit, etc. Yunho has “proven” that he can sing. Dude has a killer bass and actually quite a pretty/handsome voice when he sings naturally. But he has a lyric vocal weight and that gets overshadowed by the dramatic vocals of Junsu, Changmin, and Jaejoong. I find that he has a better voice than a few of K-pop’s biggest soloists.
He does need to retire that arm wave for a while

as a model i guess you have to be tall, so changmin fits that, but changmin’s really skinny wheras yunho has a nice balanced amount of muscle…
I can’t stand Yunho haters. They see that he can’t sing as well as Junsu or Jaejoong and just write him off as useless.
First of all, Yunho is an above average singer. I’d say him and Yoochun are about on the same level. Changmin’s a bit better, and Jaejoong and Junsu are the best. But still, they are all excellent singers. Their harmonizations and beautiful ballad performances would not be as good as they are if that weren’t true. I’m so sick of DBSK haters grasping at straws, saying that Yunho or Yoochun or whatever aren’t good singers because they aren’t as good as JJ or Junsu. Hello, those two are exceptional. Just because he/they isn’t/aren’t at that level doesn’t mean they’re not good.
And about the dancing- Yunho has the best dancing skill of any in DBSK. That being said, I’ll admit he sucks at freestyling (which is when he usually does that arm-waving thing). But I’m pretty sure SM didn’t train him to be good at that. So as for choreographed dances, he rocks.
I’ll also say that his rapping is not as good as Yoochun’s, but is nonetheless solid if it’s a pre-written verse. He’s not really better or worse than most other idol rappers.
Modeling and acting aren’t essential to being an idol, so I don’t really care. The modeling is okay, if a bit boring, and his acting sucks. But it’s whatever. Not really essential to his value as a DBSK member.
Sorry for the rant, but this is a venting I’ve been meaning to get off my chest for a while…
I know this is a super old topic, but seriously, not one person has mentioned that Yunho had surgery done on his throat due to a hormone growth problem before they debuted as a group. This caused him to go from a soprano (I think) to a baritone. I am definitely sure that he was a better singer before the incident.
And yes, Yunho is not the best singer in DBSK, in fact, I personally think he is the worst of the 5. He is still a good singer though. And he is the best dancer, right in front of Junsu. His movements are very fluid and smooth, and although he does that arm movement a lot, he CAN dance. He is no b-boy, his style is very different. If that’s not your cup of tea, too bad.
His acting skills are questionable. I never watched Heading to the Ground, but I watched the Banjun dramas and Vacation, and he was the worst actor of the bunch, but there’s always room for improvement, and I saw clips of Heading to the Ground. From Vacation to that, it was a definite improvement.
Listen to his solo song, Checkmate. It’s a very catchy tune. That shows off his talent as a solo artist. He wrote and composed the song himself.
Yunho is not some talentless hack, just so you know.

I think Yunho is more of a comedic actor and his debut role and the magnitude of its importance wasn’t the best place to start.

I think you’re just mad because DBSK out did one of your fave groups or something. Get a life and stop coming to these posts if you don’t like our boys. A group can be as good looking, well groomed as they want to be but if they don’t have any talent then their fans soon disappear.
With DBSK, people may be drawn to their looks but ultimately, it’s their talent that makes people stay. Even you haters can’t resist them.
People can say that he’s overrated and i bad model all they want to, but you all know that if you even saw Yunho on the street and he made that very SAME face at you, you’d fall apart and die of a heart attack. So no matter how “overrated” he may be and no matter how talentless you think he is he will still be part of the most popular group in ASIA and they didn’t get that far with nothing so he must have some talent right.
Fans see Yunho in high regard because we can get past the face and look at his vast accomplishments and improvements and individual talent. HTTG wasn’t the best series I’ve seen and yeah, modeling may not exactly be his line, but you can see how he continuously strive to improve and give his best. Bad at singing? Have you ever heard their recent japanese ballad single (forgot the title)? He SHONE in that song. He shines in a lot of songs. Most non-fans underrate him and call him overrated just because he’s the leader of one of the most popular bands in Asia, or that they keep comparing them to Jaejoong and Junsu who have rich and captivating voices. Yunho is a very good singer. His voice may be a bit on the plainer side but he can hit both high and low notes without missing.

Somehow in many people eyes, good-behavior idols are fake. LOL this world is crazy enough to make people think sourly. He is actually one of the few korean idols that sasaeng fans don’t have to cover shits.
Yunho ( and all DBSK members) has shown many styles of posing than any idols. If you are not the fans, your eyes just catch the ones that show in articles or actually the ones that draw your attention (admit it LOL). BTW, Evisu male shoots always are in this style.
He dances beautifully, someting that you don’t see these days. He sings above idol standard, and surely can do live even better. Their tons of concert perfs show his abilities, and he isn’t the weak one in DBSK’s live.
