Guess who came out with an auto tuned pop song and trippy video? 8eight! Yup, really. The ballad belting trio is preparing for a mini-album titled The Bridge and have just released a music video for ‘Validity Period’ and it is nothing like anything they have done in the past. ‘Validity Period’ is a really chill electronic song and it is cool to see them try out something so different. The video is definitely similar to G-Dragon’s ‘A Boy’ MV, just replacing the apple with a heart, but the animate busts just freak me out a bit too much.

8eight’s 2nd album had its share of electronica songs. nothing new really. but anyway this song doesnt do it for me. i dont think anything will beat the first song they put out.
boo they should stick with the ballad this song is just ok.
i really like this song…
this song would’ve been so awesome if they drop the autotune. i am crossing my fingers for a ballad version or something that’s less electronic…
8eight was never exclusively a ballad group… they started out more R&Bish, and they have done a lot of electronica.
started out boring, but i enjoy it. nothing new, but better than many kpop songs out right now.
YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NONE OF THEIR APPLES IF YOU THINK THIS IS NEW FOR 8EIGHT. THEY DONT JUST DO BALLADS THOUGH THAT IS THEIR FOCUS.
THEY HAVE A SONG ON THEIR LAST ALBUM CALLED I CANT STOP AND ITS A DANCE TRACK AND IS FAR BETTER THEN THIS MESS. THEY ARE JUST CONFORMING LIKE EVERYONE. DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM AND BROWN EYED GIRLS. SWITCHING OUT TO GET A HIT. SO OVER IT
Calm down. All caps is obnoxious.
am sorry, but I had to giggle a bit, coz “calm down” was also the first thing that came to my mind…no harm done though! ^_^
lol calm down but i do agree with you. the dance tracks on their last album are a lot better this song

i love eight! They do have better songs than this one.
This video is really fugly. Something about the lighting really clashes with the CG background and there’s way too much shit going on back there. Tone it down!
It’s like they took all the trends from 2009, with those spiky studs/military jackets, and tried to make a Windows screen saver.
