Things got hot and heavy on the set of 2AM’s music video shoot for their new single “Even If I Die, I Won’t Let You Go” when Jokwon (along with everyone else on set) pulled a prank on his We Got Married wife Brown Eyed Girls member Ga-in. The entire set pretended that the MV required a kissing scene and convinced Ga-in that she was just the right woman for the role. After many NGs, the two finally shot a few great takes until an incredibly nervous Jokwon spilled the beans and ended the prank. The prank did not make Ga-in happy… but she was a bit violent. lol
IMO: I still don’t understand why Korean culture is so fixated with the “aggressive lover” theme. From Boys Before Flowers to, well almost every other love story drama, the potential boyfriend is often seen flinging the girlfriend around in a show of uncontrolled passion. I know this Jokwon-Ga-in set up is harmless, but you can see the consequences of this “dangerously passionate” theme on Part 3 @ 1:01 when things get a bit too rough.

maybe he is mad she is not a man? anywho they need to stop the violence what if Ga In went all UFC on his butt then that would be hilarious
Lol!!!! they are soo cute!!!! But JoKwon is sooo effeminate that he looks awkward and funny doing the scene! ^_^

Well, because masculinity is very much tied to displays of physical aggression (the world over), and there’s no way to better show off how macho you are than by physically dominating or exerting some sort of control over your woman. Or something like that.
Don’t let all these flower boys fool you, Korean men have a cultural obsession with “manliness” and that at times can manifest itself in some very troubling ways.
