BoA Wins & I Fail
Although it’s a very teeny weeny mini-ini little mistake, to report wrong information is alas, a fail. Last week I reported that After School was going to receive an award at the Billboard Japan Awards and they were going to be the only Korean artists to win anything, but they weren’t. BoA also received an award at the show, which was held Sunday night. She got the U.S. Billboard Publisher’s Award for [obviously] her little stint in the U.S. of A. She also performed her most recent song “Possibility” from her new Japanese album, Identity, set to drop on February 10th. That’s not all folks! Beat of Angel (this makes me giggle) is going to kick off her Japanese tour, “BoA Live Tour 2010″, in April. Glad to have you back in Asia girl, but show your motherland some love with a new Korean album too. You haven’t had one in ages!

But isn’t Boa more popular in Japan then in
Korea.

Yeah, I think she has always been popular in Japan and of course, since she’s so successful in there,it sort of carried in Korea, though not as much as in Japan.
She’s huge in Korea but she’s also big in Japan, she’s always within the top 10 single chart and her albums always get #1, I think the only reason she focuses more on the Japanese market is because it’s a lot less hectic than the Korean one (you can probably sleep more then 2 hours a night during promotions) and Japan has the 2nd biggest music industry in the world.
I would love to see a Korean album from my lady too. I’ve been waiting for EVER :(
But I’m psyched for her new Japanese album anyway. I love her Japanese songs too :D Go BoA!
I’ll be honest boa can’t sing especially when she’s on stage and whenever she’s on stage she makes me wanna fall asleep. Plus she’s not even good at dancing
