f(x) Is On The Air!

f(x) has officially landed their first radio show appearance on what else but Super Junior’s (Leeteuk and Euhyuk) Sukira.

As with any rookie radio appearance, the girls introduced themselves, made jokes, and revealed fun about themselves and each other. For example, SNSD member Jessica‘s little sister Krystal revealed that tomboy Amber feels uncomfortable and embarrassed when she has to do “sexy” or “girly” dances. Amber is also a neat freak and loves cleaning and tidiness. Krystal also said that while other members are changing clothes, Amber will initially cover her eyes but then peek at other members through her fingers. Of course Amber vehemently denied these claims; because who wants to labeled as a pervert?

Here they are performing their debut single “La chA TA” (Weirdest song title in Kpop). I prefer their live versions to their studio version and music video.

What more can I say? The vocals are as stable as their dancing.

Well, I usually don’t take reports of idols possessing “powerful voices” seriously; but in this case rumours of Luna’s great vocals were true. Unfortunately, I could only understand 50% of what she was saying. Her voice is stable with good vibrato and better yet she does not do the (no offence because I like her too) “Beyonce technique” where most of the notes are “screamed” instead of “sung”. Whitney Houston, as a singer, is a great role model because her songs were incredible for showing off her grade A vocal skills.
