Nicole says CL is her competition
and I’m hysterically laughing. For an interview with The Star, Kara’s rapper Nicole said that 2NE1’s CL is her biggest competitor in the KPOP game. She went on to say that CL’s stage presence, powerful moves, and strong voice impressed and moved her. I mean, come on, there is no one in the KPOP world that compares to CL right now and I strongly mean this when I say, there is simply no comparison between the two.

Rapping put aside, who’s more likable between CL and Nicole? Nicole! She’s pretty much the only likable thing about Kara.
i pretty sure the author didnt mean that cl is the best korean rapper she said she cant be compared which i think its true i actually dont think cl rapping is laughable compared to tasha but i do think tasha owns in all aspects but thats just my own personal opinion . But if were talking about idol rappers cl pretty much own most girls and some of the boys. i also find cl very likeable watching 2ne1 tv. Nicole is sweet i think she just said that because her and cl are actually close friends.
I think it was sweet of Nicole to say CL is her competition. It’s a big compliment. I adore both of them!

CL is not the best rapper, however she *is* one of the best female rappers currently invovled with K-Pop. The rest are just fluff. Now Tasha, that’s a different story.

Love love LOVE CL. The only other new female rapper I like is E. Via, though I think CL has greater stage presence.
I have to disagree that there is noone that compares to CL in regards to rapping out of the idol groups because Miryo from BEG is as talented as CL in my opinion and probably her biggest competition in the idol girl rappers. However I have to give CL her props because not only is that girl a great rapper, she is also a pretty decent singer, something I unfortunately cannot say about Miryo. So as far as being both a talented singer AND rapper then yes, no one in the idol kpop world that is ACTIVE right now can compare. I mean don’t get me wrong Tasha’s ability in both rapping and singing has both of these girls beat, but since she isn’t active (besides featuring on her hubby’s song )at the moment I will not include her in this comparison. Now if Tasha/T released a new album, that would be a whole other story.
wwell yeah i love nicole and all, she’s the only reason i watch kara stuff. but rapping wise, she definitely cannot compare to CL.
i’ve been listening to BEG since they debuted, and the rapper is seriously good. but i don’t know too much about korean female rappers, so there’s probably better ones. nevertheless she is amazing for idol standards.
CL is alright. she’s got swagger. but at the end of the day when you’re trained to be a carbon copy of someone else, can’t really give much credit there. :/

miryo is good. but yes, i think tasha is a better rapper cum singer.
CL is overall a good performer. A lot of stage presence and she is younger than her competition. so. okay, except for nicole.

@xenia: i was thinking the same thing!! when i saw a live vid of e.via rapping, i was like, this girl is the truth! she has AMAZING skills and would own ANY female rapper and could hold her own with the boys!
