Who would YOU share an umbrella with?
Bugs Music, a Korean music site, recently had a poll that asked the netizens a very random question: “Which k-pop star would you share an umbrella with?”
With over 50% of the votes, Jessica of SNSD came in first place. Jessica fans got very passionate and even said that they’d even “give the umbrella to Jessica and get hit by the rain”.
Coming in second place was Lee Seung Gi, famous for his role as ‘heodang’ on 1 Night 2 Days, and who is also showing his acting chops in SBS drama Brilliant Legacy. Seung Gi fans also got passionate (but not as much), saying that they’d even “hold the umbrella for him”.
Coming in third place was Sandara Park of 2NE1, which I find kinda ridiculous but I suppose it’s good to hear that people actually like her. I guess it will be ok to share an umbrella with her as long as she doesn’t start singing “Umbrella” all of sudden. Now then things wouldn’t be so good. Sandara Park was the most voted star that debuted this year.
Taemin of Shinee came in fourth place, Chansung of 2PM snatched the fifth place, and Hyun Ah of 4Minute came in 6th.
So dear readers, who would you share an umbrella with?
As for me, I would share an umbrella with Taemin because that boy looks like he can’t hold an umbrella by himself, he’s so skinny!
WHY DARA CAME IN 3RD? IT’S BEEN AN UNSOLVED MYSTERY WAY BACK WHEN SHE’S STILL IN THE PHILIPPINES, SHE DRAWS SO MUCH SUPPORT, MAYBE NOT SO MUCH FROM NETIZENS BUT A LOT FROM COMMONERS. MAYBE BECAUSE THESE EVERYDAY PEOPLE SAW HER AS THEIR REPRESENTATIVE? I DONT KNOW REALLY… THERE’S ALWAYS BEEN THIS DOUBT TO WHETHER KOREA WILL LOVE HER, WILL THIS MIGHT HAVE ANSWERED THAT QUESTION. AND IF YOU GUYS HAVE SEEN HER IN YG TV JUST RECENTLY, ISN’T SHE ADORABLE OR WHAT? MAYBE THAT’S ANOTHER REASON FOR HER MAKING IT IN #3. OBVIOUSLY THE SUPPORT SHE’S BEEN GETTING IS A VALUABLE ASSET FOR 2NE1. MAYBE THAT’S ONE OF THE REASON WHY THEIR NEW SINGLE IS TOPPING VARIOUS CHARTS BEATING A SUPPOSEDLY MORE POPULAR GROUP RIGHT NOW.

no. I was just surprised because she’s so new but still got so many votes, and that she already has so many devoted fans that’d vote for her, you know?
… and of course, she sucks at singing, but I don’t usually get ‘angry’ or ‘hate’ someone for being talentless. I’m just saying that I was surprised, in a “WHOA DIDN’T EXPECT THAT COMING!” sorta thing.

If it’s a girl I would pick Dara as my number one. She’s such a dork and sharing an umbrella with her won’t be boring. As much as I like Jessica I think sharing with her would be awkward.
1) Taec Yeon – He seem very gentleman plus he’s tall and the body.. so I know I won’t get wet on the side!
2) Tempo – He’s just hot and look dependable.
3) Jaejoong – Also hot but I’m kind of worried that he’ss get more space on the umbrella so his hair won’t get wet…..
4) Minho of Shinee – I just love the kid plus it’s good to my image lol.
5) Changmin – or better yet Jaemin! – I won’t need umbrella I’ll just stare at them.

Sharing with Dara seems fun. I’d share with Taemin too… I’ll be a blissful sister! And Minji as well.
Umbrellas are no fun. I’d prefer to have a guy who’d rather ditch the brolly and have a laugh running round in the rain getting crazy wet.
I have no idea who this would be, so I’m thinking I’d have to draw up a list and try each one in turn…

eh?i think she doesn’t sucks at singing, it was just not good as the others, just OK. but if your going to compare it with some “feeling” kpop singers much senior than her, you would say that Dara at least can stand a note. and i think it’s not her talent why people voted for her, i think it has something to do more with her personality, and appearance. The question wasn’t like “Most talented person that you would share an umbrella with?” Yeah, she was just new, but aren’t you happy to see somebody gaining lots of fans? rather than saying something wrong or bad about her? it was just weird cos you like the group but hating or disliking a members talent. LOL! The said Poll was just proves that Dara’s much gaining popularity helps 2ne1 to achieve what they want, and what they have now. :D

Yah, I’m a VIP for life, but Seung Ri is not worthy of being a Big Bang member for me. I picked Chun Hee oppa instead, because he’s cute when he’s clumsy and I love watching him in Family Outing. Honestly, when he got to go pick vegetables with Son Dam Bi for dinner, I was really jealous of her.
