Comments on: BoA song on “So You Think You Can Dance”

this is a huge victory for BoA!!! no matter what anyone says. To be in the beginning stages of a U.S. singing career is not the easiest place to be. however, BoA’s song was played on the U.S. national television. plus all of BoA’s american fans who had no idea she even had a new english album could go buy it. even on top of that, this could even lead to her music being played on the radio nation wide.

and what’s the point of comparing BoA to Britney and lady ga ga. i understand why someone would BoA’s american music sounds like the other pop stars and there’s a pretty good reason why…it’s because that’s who’s popular now!!! Rock-emo music was popular for awhile, and everybody came out and made a rock-emo album. but you can’t blame BoA for trying to get the attention of america by sounding like the pop stars america likes.

so anyway, BoA rules!! i’m so happy to hear her music on television. and i can’t wait for her to blow america away her true musical talent that she’s has yet to show the U.S.

Vote for Asuka next week not because she used Boa’s song or because she’s Asian, but because she’s one of the bottom couples now and you can’t blame her for it. All the other couples got awesome choreography and got to dance in their specialty except her and her partner. Asuka & Vitolio got stuck with the worst choreography and thats why they were in the bottom 3.

I was happy to hear BoA’s song on SYTYCD (even if it’s only like 30 seconds), but I thought Asuka’s solo was disappointingly weak (even though I should support her because she’s representing the Asians). However, the song was Asuka’s personal song choice- so the appearance of the song on the show doesn’t stand out as much as if one of the choreographers chose it. Adding to that, over 150+ songs will get played over the course of the season….so we can’t really celebrate a huge victory for BoA there.

And I wish that people would stop calling BoA the korean britney spears. It would have been an apt description during Britney’s earlier years, but now Britney’s style and image is different. They could have just referred to BoA as the pop princess of Asia.

BoA has written her own songs before. Who the hell are you to say she doesn’t have brains to write her own songs?

people need to quit trippin over such trivial things. IT’s not like this will make her some super famous star. It might of grasped the attention of the viewers but this doesn’t guarantee anything. BoA & Se7en still have so much to do…..

Moron, all the songs on BoA’s album were bought from western songwriters. She certainly doesn’t have the brains to write her own.
