Back in the day, before After School, the hot leader used to be part of a Korean American girl group called S. Blush. The group was made up of four beautiful, long-legged talents who actually hit #2 on the Billboard dance charts a few years back.
Group members Kai, Penny, Jeanie, & Sara performing to their song, “It’s My Life.”
I grew up with one of these unnies, and know another member from a place I used to intern for, and from what I hear, Park Gahee is a really nice person. My question is, how the hell are some Korean women this long and thin? DAMN YOU.

When I visit Korea, I meet alot of people who are both short and tall :/ Not everyone is short, not everyone is tall either.
Never had a clue about S. Blush.
The singing hurt my ears in places.
But if ever they want to swap those pins with a pair of stumps my legs are available.

wow. probably you’re one of the few *useless* people whose ears are hurt by their singing.
because kid, this group made it to the no. 2 of the billboard chart. you know, the chart BoA is trying to get on?
how the hell did they get no. 2 if their singing hurt people’s ears?

and to whoever above who said the group didn’t make it because they’re too generic, why don’t you do some research first before babbling shit?
the group actually made it. but their management company was too F*CKED UP to do proper management of the group and to properly manage their finances for that matter.
the group was disbanded not because they didn’t make it. rather, it was because the management had financial issues.
all 4 of these ladies (5 actually but Dambi left and yes, Dambi WAS part of this group) are really really really nice people. they deserve better but seems like all 4 are happy where they are now.
they suck at singing. they have no tone control and their voices are weak.
in other words, they SUCK.
compared to mariah carey, beyonce, even rihanna, their voices are terrible

honey, it’s billboard DANCE chart. And most singers in DANCE CHART cant sing. Accept the fact.
They’re terrible singers. But Gahee is HOT. The other 3 looks like teletubbies.
Park Gahee does seem like a nice person.

And I’m not sure why the little kids tuning into kpop these days keep complaining over vocals. If all we wanted on stage were strong unwavering vocalists then we’d never see any dramatic dancing or even attitude. We’d just get the same overdone ballad-sounding tripe.

Why is everyone tripping over vocals all of a sudden? Have you heard the vocals for other girl groups? They’re equally, if not more crappier than this group. I tend to find that whenever people are jealous of something they can’t straight up say, they turn to pointing out weak excuses in order to criticize em. That’s sad.
The ajuma look-a-like with the big perm in the clip has the hallmarks of an Idol out-takes contestant. She should just dance, keep her mouth shut and try and avoid the close ups.

I have to agree with you on how kids should stop complaining for something they make happen. But I also have to disagree with this:

are LIVE performances by CSJH The Grace / Tenjochiki/a billion of other names.
I don’t know if you know of them or if their music suits your taste but regardless of preferences, it would be hard to argue that CSJH The Grace isn’t delivering a performance with ” dramatic dancing or even attitude” and top notch vocals ^^.

I am glad to know that he hear say about Gahee are positive. This woman is flaming hot! And I love hre smile and the lady like aura she gives off.
Gahee looks gorgeous as usual…and her abs are to die for. I’m so jealous >.>
I think it’s great that Ellie is telling this personal encounter. It’s not a cooked up publicity stunt ~ just one person sharing with others. Because I think ultimately, as fans we just want to make sure that those we like are great people too and nothing turns fans off than a snooty idol.
I think that’s why Hyori is SO popular despite the fact that her talents are limited. She’s just a warm, down-to-earth girl-next-door that everyone can relate to; even though she’s like the MOST POPULAR female artist in Korean history.
When certain weather-related megastar had a concert in my country and dined at one of our famous Korean restaurants ~ he was the opposite of his stage persona. He was surrounded by bodyguards and no one could even shake his head AFTER the meal; not even the owners!
And that’s just lame.

A lot of groups that have a lot of potential or achieve great success can sometimes slip into oblivion thanks to poor management.
It’s not bad and their legs are to die for T^T i’m so jealous.

Its true that people these days cant sing and some girl groups cant sing COF COF WONDER GIRLS.
but its not true that just because some groups are crap at singing, it excuses this group to be toned deaf.
Its really not that hard to find people who can sing and dance
For example, CSJH, DBSK, Boa, all can sing and dance IN TUNE. None of them are boring for whoever said that people who can sing in tune are boring balladers.
P.s Kim sung hee and Ga hee do look simlar but the difference is Sung hee is more talented because she can sing.

apparently sondambi was the rapper/singer in s blush in her predebut days. :/

i see many of you want to know some more things about S.Blush and their members and what happened to them.
so here i am helping you ^^
first S.Blush was made by DamBi, Sara (leader of S.Blush), Stephanie and Jeane. DamBi and Stephanie did NEVER perform with the group but they made the record with them. Stephanie did leave the group AFTER the recording so GaHee (now leader of After School) did join the group. a new recording was made. they did delete Stephanies parts and GaHee did sing them. Before performing DamBi did leave the group so Penelope (called Penny) did join S.Blush. then an other recording was made with Penny’s voice. DamBi’s voice didt get deleted off the track, this is why on the single cover of “it’s my life” there are 5 girls and not 4 like in the performances. the 5th girl is noother then DamBi.
After a year of glory, only 1 single release and more then 20 different remixes of “It’s My Life” the group got disband.
The reason why they didnt get the chance to release more singles is obvious: S.Blush = 1-Hit-Wonder !!!! Their label did never want S.Blush to get something different but the girls didnt know. Probably Stephanie and DamBi did understand what the entertainment wanted to get with S.Blush and maybe because of this they did leave the group.
Sara now works as moderator again, Penny is into music with Stan (Penelope & Stan, watch the video on my YouTube channel), GaHee did join Pledis and got leader of S.Blush and Son DamBi went solo (also with Pledis). About Stephanie and Jeane is no information but im sure they are working on their careers too.
About the fact of Son DamBi being rapper for S.Blush:
this is NOT true! son dambi was NOT rapper of S.Blush. in fact S.Blush didnt have any rapper.
