DBSK releases “Stand By U” PV
The Dong Bang Shin Ki boys currently having their fourth concert tour in Japan, but in their absence has recently released the PV to their next single, “Stand By U.” DBSK often releases a really light song every year during this season and this song is no exception. “Stand By U” has a really summery feel to it, but personally, I much preferred last year’s summer single — Doushite kimi wo suki ni natte shimattan darou — which if you have interest in saving time like I do, just call “Doushiteasdfjlasdf.”

At this point, having lived through so many of their ballad/ballad-y pieces, I don’t even think there should be a PV for these types of songs of theirs. This one was mind-numbingly boring even though it was really pretty to look at, and then the other alternative to having a drama version would be the five virginal boys standing in a line, probably in white outfits, and singing their hearts out. Personally, I’ll just take the live performances to any PVs.
This single makes for their 28th single in Japan, but oddly enough won’t be releasing until July 1.

love the song! it’s beautiful, though my fave ballad from them would always be love in the ice. but this is a close second with doushite
I personally liked the song the first time I heard the short preview, even more when I listen to the full length of song. I So love Yoochun’s voice in this song… it is catchy, can’t get enough of it.
Yeah, the mv is long and depressing… It would have been nice if the boys were in it the least.

hmm… my fave ballads have to be… love in the ice, doushite, bolero, wasurenaide, and kissu shita mama sayonara.
but love in the ice is like a family favorite lol i made my whole family fangirls and fanboys haha ;D
I actually really liked this song. Their voices were great together in this song, and the actors in the PV were actually pretty good. It’s a slow song, and I had to listen to it a second time to really have it grow on me, but now I’m addicted. It’s a soft song, and I love the feeling it gives me. So I’ll definitely buy it. I like the songs meaning to. I’ve always liked their ballads better the their dance songs because their vocals really shine through.

I like this song a lot. I thought their last Japanese album was sort of disappointing because I’ve always liked their Japanese albums more than their Korean ones… sort of wish they stick to ballads cause they are the best at them.

I think I might be the only person that thought this song was really boring. It didn’t grab my attention in any way like some of their other ballads. Nothing stood out and it just sounded repetitive. I actually think the video made me dislike it even more.
They really should’ve released something else for a summer single.
CMIIW, but I never saw Tohoshinki released their singles in the same week with any Johnny’s. If this one is released in this week, it has to face to face with Arashi’s.
It’s a good move for Tohoshinki (and Avex) if they want to be on the the top of chart again.

at first when i heard the song i thought it sounded nice..when i saw the pv i was like ugh im not gonna watch it cuz its 7 mins and they’re not even in it >_> but man by some sort of fluke that video started playing and that song stole my heart..i like it better ..way better than doushite ..its right up there with bolero and love in the ice..cuz its soft nothing extraordinary but it has so much depth..and the video ..i loved it. the fact that they weren’t in it gave more depth to the song..and i must say…micky and hero…omg their voices in the song..made me wanna cry..>_> and this was all on a rainy day mind you. all in all..i loved the pv and the song!!!
