The video definitely could have been better, but I still like this group more than any of the other girl groups. Also, their live performances will probably be more entertaining since at least there will be more dancing ^^.
i like the video. it’s not a high budget video but i like it. its different from the mv that have been coming out recently. and i do like the song, it’s catchy and fun.

First Brown Eyed Girls, then Son Dambi, then Bae Seulki… every female singer the Brave Brothers produces will eventually turn retro. Well, most members make it work I guess, but I like their debut look a lot better. Plus, Gahee’s bangs make her look older…
As for the song, Jung Ah sounded good. I liked the rapping, mostly. And Yoojin is actually a bit unnecessary. But overall, I still love After School.
Well, they looked like they had fun making the video and I guess that’s what matters. I don’t place much stock in MVs anyway – the song is cute, not PCD-esque at all – but I guess they figured they’d try something new, especially after that other song of theirs got banned. I’d listen to it if it came on the radio. It reminds me of the cool techno songs they play on Friday evenings here.
I hope the Brave Brothers wave will end soon… not really liking it.

I think that people that say they like songs by “After School” just really, REALLY do not like “cute and innocent” Korean girl groups. B/c from what I saw “After School” has such an amazingly low level in their works that you need to HATE other groups so you could enjoy “AS” songs.
Let’s just say that I listen to Asian music when I can’t find alternative artists in Russia / Europe / America that sing in the same style (I prefer languages that I can understand). I listen to DBSK and SJ b/c I don’t know western analogue (maybe I just do not dig enough). I like SNSD’s videos EXACTLY b/c they are insanely cute and I don’t really see western girls doing that =) Etc., etc., etc.
PEOPLE, THERE ARE LOTS OF FEMALE ARTISTS THAT ARE PRETTIER (IMO) AND SEXIER THAN AFTER SCHOOL. AS can’t compare to PCD. NEVER. As Russian gamers say – not enough hits =)

I don’t think After School compares to PCD music-wise, but you’re giving those PCD chickas way more credit than they deserve when it comes to musical composition.
And in the looks department, After School has it way better. PCD has to be the most expressionless, eye-makeup laden cult I know. I sure has hell don’t need those she-zombies on my wall posters, or at least not their faces.
Anyway this song has a good beat. Melody sucks but overall I can move to it better than their “AH” track.

UEE adds NOTHING to the group, she’s completely worthless. There was no point in adding her, she’s not even that pretty or sexy. She’s just tall – that’s it.

I don’t get it. Admittedly, I haven’t really follow AS at all but I have been reading reports that they’re supposed to be the Korean counterpart to Pussycat Dolls. So I expected there would be more complicated dancing involved since PCD started out as a more dance oriented group (since their origin is burlesque anyway), and if you watch PCD, they do tend to dance their asses off. Thus, I thought AS would be all dancing intensive also except in this vid they just seem to bounce around normally like other “cuter, innocent” girl groups. The only thing different about them is they wear shorter stuffs.
Diva just doesn’t “grab” me. I get bored listening to it.. and it’s an upbeat song. -.-;

I thought they were living up to the PCD standard with Ah and Playgirlz but maybe they thought they needed to tone it down? @ gary – hey, actually I do not give ANY pop-group much credit. I mean, songs by “Queen” are never off my playlist, and pop songs come and go endlessly. I’m not a PCD fan, but I suppose that they are… okay. I just think that AS is talentless group that is much worse than PCD, that’s all =)

I liked their AH single much better but this ain’t bad. I just don’t like the SNSD-like cutesy voice in the Diva part.. Anyway, I’m kinda surprised that the additional member kinda makes them look more complete somehow..I thought it’d look awkward
“Bad Guy” would have been a much better next single if it wasn’t banned.
In Kpop I haven’t really heard many songs about girls being mad at guys, most of the time they are sweet and guy crazy.
I was looking forward to the comeback with the new member, and the teaser of the song sounded great.
But the full song is just…. God, I can’t even stand listening to the whole thing… Sorry… =(
It gets repetitive and annoying.
And they definitely need better MV directors and CAMERAMEN for AS. Son Dam Bi’s music videos are so well shot compared to After School.

I like AS and all, but since the beggining I knew they didn’t sound like PCD at all. “Diva” really gets annoying after 2-3 times you listen (or maybe for some, at first listening). I’m kinda dissapoited coz I was expecting something more “fierce”.
It seems like most of the girlbands in Korea are putting on the “cute, innocent” concept because it’s what give them awards.
