BOF to get a different ending? (Spoilers ahead!)
I think it’s safe to assume that speculations have been rife since day one of BOF’s airing. And things have not let up since then.
After a series of leaked plots riding up to the climax of Goo Jun Pyo and Geum Jandi’s relationship standing, producers have been desperately trying to avoid the dissemination of spoilers. As of now, netizens have pieced together a puzzle, more or less confirming that the finale has already been filmed in New Caledonia. Their precious deduction stemmed from this particular still that was apparently part of a scene that was left on the cutting room floor.
(Quoting some netizens… Goo Jun Pyo should’ve still had his phobia for swimming so why the goggles? Geum Jandi hadn’t already received the necklace from Jun Pyo at that point in time, or did I miss something? Were they even chummy enough to be holding hands?)
Your guesses are as good as mine. As a way of tackling these “unwarranted speculations”, the production team has also insisted on stepped up security, restricting admission and thus photography on set. They were probably trying to act against their trusty crew who just couldn’t help snapping some juicy footage as they went along – of which the results were the pictures below:
Ok so you might’ve heard about the Jun Pyo-Jae Kyung wedding in Jeju due in next week’s episodes… but it doesn’t stop there.
Plot speculation 1: BOF has so far been promising with regards to quirky tweaks in the plot and word has it that the well-known Goo-Geum happy ending may veer off in different directions. Therefore, possibility of a Yoon-Geum finale could be expected.
Plot speculation 2: Fast-paced BOF looks set to incorporate what it’s Japanese counterpart took to film in two serials – including a late addition of anything-but-minor character of Nakajima Umi (the girl who saves Jun Pyo from the depths of temporary amnesia). Her arrival is slated for Episode 23 and she will further complicate the present ‘love square’, probably driving Jandi even more nuts (and eventually falling to Yoon Ji Hoo’s side?). As expected, casting for this mystery girl is currently “top-secret”.

IT BETTER BE A GEUM JAN-DI & GOO JUN-PYO PAIRING! The production team of BOF will get it if they don’t. The Boys Over Flowers mania has a HUGE following who are all for the GooGeum pairing and, shoot, if they don’t want a mob of angry fans mauling them, I’d stick to the original pairings. I like Jae Kyung and Ji-Hoo but I’m way too loyal to the original storyline to like it any different. So PLEASE… don’t even try to be “creative” and stick to what’s already worked in the past.
I’ve stopped watching BOF after episode 11. I’m trying to start up again but….it’s kinda boring to me. I love Jandi’s bestfriend and Kimbum couple though, so I wouldn’t mind if they ended up together.
I aree with ANGEL though, if the endgame is not Goo-Guem then it’s no longer Hana Yori Dango since it’s a story about their relationship. lol Even though the 2 mains have zero chemistry I still want them to end up together. I have never been a fan of the Rui-Makino couple, even though I loved them in the Japanese version, I’ve always been a Domyouji girl. So if Goo-Guem is not the end game….I probably wont continue to watch it(except for the Kimbum-Bestfriend part:P).
I hate junpyo. Even if he were 2 change himself at d end, i would still hate him. Mayb coz i was deeply affected by the ‘a stain i want to remove’ talk and the 70000 families bullshit. So i am pretty much rooting 4 a twist at the end. Please director…u dont have 2 care abt those freaky, obsessed junpyo-jandi maniacs. I wish junpyo will 4ever hav amnesia..lol yes, im evil lyk that…funny thing is i love domyouji but i seriously hate junpyo. Maybe bcoz the characters r diff. Hey, come to think of it, if they cn change the characters, they surely can change the ending.
omy, no JiHoo and JanDi happy ending please please please. i HATE it. but if JiHoo and JanDi ends up together, they should make YiJung and GaEul together. *laughs* it’s gonna be ugly if the story twisted and the love of JoonPyo and JanDi will just be wasted. :(

If its joonpyo n jandi, it wld b pretty much boring n tiring if u ask me…their relationship just seems so pathetic n fragile…their relationship is basically made up of fighting, hurting eachother, crying, lame-ass pining for eachother n den getting back together and back 2 fighting n blah blah…its like a freaking cycle..its boring like hell. Cant help but 2 think dat if dis drama is true, both of dem will most likely end up with a freaking divorce…relationships like dat r so boring n tiring..i cant understand y alot of people lyk dis kind of shitty relationship.
